A student-run Live Performance Venue at Millikin University.
Positions held: Marketing team member / Artistic Director
The following two projects are standout events from my tenure in the venture.

Wednesday Night Live was a large undertaking by Arts Café. It emulated shows life The Late Late Show, and Saturday Night Live. We had on guests from musicians, to filmmakers, and artists. We did several segments where we highlighted their talents and did interviews with them. We also had a house band play each act on and off, as well as have projections to show graphics, video content, etc. This necessitated a tech rehearsal that we had the night before. We also did one of our most robust marketing campaigns ever.

Beats on a Beach was considerably less involved logistically, but it was a milestone in budget. We required a more powerful sound system for this event given its nature, and we were able to invest in contracting the Millikin-based sound crew Big Blue Productions for the rental.
In the past out shows have been done on. shoestring budget, but with this show we were able to invest in over $200 worth of gear and decorations as we mad that money back and then quite a bitt more. This was during my second semester as Artistic Director, and we were in a much better place after this show to continue.
